Built to keep hospitals running through the worst day
Immune exists because the security industry kept selling hospitals detection while hospitals kept getting shut down. We set out to build something different: a platform judged not by how many alerts it raises, but by whether care continues when an attack succeeds.
Our mission
Our mission is simple to state and hard to achieve: make a ransomware attack a survivable event for any hospital. Not a rare stroke of luck, not a weeks-long ordeal, but a contained incident that the hospital works through while continuing to care for patients. Everything we build is measured against that goal. If a capability does not help a hospital keep running through an attack or recover cleanly afterward, it does not belong in the product.
We chose healthcare deliberately, because it is where the stakes are highest and where the industry has served customers least well. A ransomware attack on a hospital is not a data problem; it is a patient-safety problem. Ambulances get diverted, procedures get postponed, and clinicians lose the information they need to make safe decisions. The financial cost is enormous, but the human cost is what drives us. A security platform for hospitals has to understand this in its bones — which is why patient safety, not just threat-blocking, is the principle at the center of how Immune behaves.
The company behind Immune
Immune is built by iStudio Technologies, a software engineering company with seventeen years of experience delivering enterprise systems for demanding clients. That heritage matters. Building security software that hospitals can trust in their most critical moments is not a job for a team learning to ship software; it requires deep engineering discipline, a track record of operating real systems in production, and the maturity to treat safety and reliability as non-negotiable. iStudio brings that foundation, and Immune is where we have focused it on one of the most important problems in healthcare technology.
Being backed by an established engineering company also shapes how we build. We are not chasing a demo; we are building a platform meant to run inside hospitals for years, on-premises, under strict privacy and reliability requirements. That long-term, production-first mindset runs through every design decision — from the choice to gate care-impacting actions behind human approval, to the ability to run entirely within a hospital's walls, to the emphasis on validated, provable recovery rather than hopeful restores.
What we believe
- Resilience over prevention theater. Attacks will happen; what matters is whether the hospital keeps running.
- Patient safety is the hard constraint. Automation must never override clinical judgment on the actions that matter.
- Protect everything, including what can't protect itself. The medical devices others ignore are where attacks so often begin.
- Recovery is a capability, not a folder of backups. Fast, clean, clinically-ordered restoration is the real test.
- Trust is earned through transparency. Explainable decisions, immutable audit, and honest positioning.
How we work with hospitals
A partner, not just a product
Hospitals do not need another tool tossed over the wall with a login and a manual. They need a partner who understands their environment and helps them become genuinely resilient. Immune can be delivered as a platform your own team runs or as a managed service, and in either case our goal is the same: that when the worst day comes, your hospital is ready for it. We would rather earn trust by proving value on your environment than by making claims in a brochure, which is why the most useful first step is always a working demo on a realistic scenario.
